This animated movie for the whole family features the voices of America Ferrera, Raven-Symoné, Kristin Chenoweth, Mae Whitman, Lucy Liu and Anjelica Huston. Tinker Bell premieres Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. In Tinker Bell, viewers meet the enchanting creatures of Pixie Hollow, who "nurture nature" and bring about the change of the seasons.  

Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure " will be released on home video on Oct. 27, but, no, that's not a scene from it above. The iridescent pixie shown above is a conceptual design drawing of Tinker Bell , Peter Pan's sprightly sidekick, from the late 1930s. This version was created with the beauty of a Dresden doll in mind and lacked that spunky hot-headedness that defined Tink when she finally reached the screen in the years-in-the-making " Peter Pan " in 1953.

The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Pixie Hollow and Tinker Bell are all coming to Kent. Tickets are on sale for eight Disney on Ice shows Nov. 11-15 at the ShoWare Center. The Worlds of Fantasy show includes dazzling skating, special effects and numerous Disney characters, including Lightning McQueen and Mater from the animated movie Cars. The shows are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11-13; 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  

A nine-year veteran of 'Disney on Ice' will be one of the featured performers for "Worlds of Fantasy" which will be presented the weekend of September 25 through 27, at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tenn. Josh Bindon, who has been involved in skating since the 1980's, is currently performing in his 9th season with Disney on Ice. The Walt Disney Co. ( DIS - Snapshot Report ), one of the largest entertainment companies in the world, plans the biggest ever expansion of its Fantasyland at Florida in 2010. The expansion is based on the popularity of the Disney Princess and Fairies franchises that have generated $4 billion in global retail sales. The planned expansion of the two franchises will be carried out in two phases, one to be completed in 2012 and the other in 2013.  

The long-rumored Fantasyland expansion / addition has been confirmed at the D23 Expo during the Disney Parks & Resorts presentation. Imagineers did not want to comment specifically on the leaked blueprint but it appears that, more or less, all of what was rumored is coming true. The Fantasyland expansion will begin construction in early 2010 and all except Pixie Hollow will complete in 2012 with Pixie Hollow to follow in 2013.
